Summer Food Pantry Helps 170 Families

Pantry2FBC’s Food Pantry served 170 low-income households in Pawtucket and Central Falls this past summer. On July 27 and August 24 we were able to give a variety of canned foods as well as fresh produce to our neighbors in need. We also distributed free crayons and coloring books to children at the July pantry and gave out school supplies at the August pantry. Back-to-School bags included notebooks, folders, pens, pencils, erasers and rulers.

A special thank you to our summer Food Pantry volunteers: Amigos, Inc. staff & clients, Cindy Downie, Holly Fournier, Marc and Ruth Gravel, Pastor Linda Watkins, Tom and Nancy Wojtyto, Louie, Neerja & Megha Sud, and Ally. We also thank Walgreens’ employees in Pawtucket for their generous donation of food items. God bless all of you!
