We are committed to serving our community. Our Food Pantry helps over 130 households a month, providing healthy food items to our neighbors in need in Pawtucket and Central Falls. Visitors select the items they want and are treated with dignity and Christian love. First time visitors are asked to register with our Food Pantry and bring an ID and proof of local residence. The Pantry’s hours are 9am-12pm one Saturday a month (except in summer months it is closed). See the Calendar page for dates.
First Baptist’s building is home to Joyful Hearts Childcare Center and two other congregations, Iglesia Bautista Emmanuel and Iglesia de Cristo Rio de Dios, with services in Spanish. Our facility is also used for Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
