November 28th marks the beginning of the 2021 Advent season.  Christians around the world will celebrate Christ’s first coming as the Child born in Bethlehem and anticipate His glorious return as King of kings and Lord of lords.  Let’s look forward to a joyful season!

  • FBC Food Pantry Sets Record

One hundred and thirty-nine low-incone families with a total of almost 600 family members were helped by FBC’s November 21st outdoor Food Pantry. Visitors received a variety of food items, including chicken legs and ground turkey as well as toilet paper.  The first 100 visitors were given a $10 Stop & Shop gift card.  Thank you to the dedicated volunteers who helped prepare for and operate that pantry: Cindy Downie, Food Pantry Coordinator; Michele Alt, Renee Farland, Henry Graham, Marc and Ruth Gravel, and Nancy and Tom Wojtyto. God bless you!

  • FBC Rally Day September 20th

This Sunday is RALLY DAY at our church! Come worship with us in the Sanctuary at this joyful service.  Our safety protocol includes wearing masks and socially distancing from people outside our family groups. After the service, all parents and students are invited to a special meeting with our teachers. We’ll discuss the safest way to hold Sunday School classes this fall. Hope you can join us!

  • FBC Resumes Onsite Services

On Sunday, September 6 at 10:30 am, our church will resume worship services in our Sanctuary.  Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we had not gathered onsite for more than 5 months.  Instead, prerecorded service videos were posted on this web site’s home page.  Along with worshiping God together, FBC’s top priority will be the safety and wellbeing of our members and visitors.  Therefore, each person attending services will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.  Please stay home and heal, rather than coming to church, if you are feeling sick.  Later this month, our services will be livestreamed and made accessible online.  Hope to see you soon!

  • FBC Children’s Day 6/14/2020

Hats off to our young people, teachers, and Minister of Music/Technical Director for the wonderful job they did on Sunday, June 14, Children’s Day worship service!  The theme was “Count Your Blessings.”  That means in the midst of our worries and stress, it’s important to pause and remember how God has blessed you, and be thankful.  It’s easy to forget how blessed we are, especially when it doesn’t seem that way.  Our youth reminded us Psalm 103:2 says, “Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me.”
