Would you like to make a positive difference in the lives of others, especially our neighbors in need? This fall volunteer at FBC’s Food Pantry or Clothing Closet once a week, month, or quarter. Our Pantry will resume Thursday, Sept. 13, 9 am-12 pm. Volunteers help in various ways: sorting fresh produce and stocking shelves on Wednesdays 4-5 pm, registering visitors and supporting them in our Pantry Thursday mornings. Our Pantry and Closet are open September to June, except the first Thursday of each month. Your service will help many people and that’s what Jesus wants us to do. In Matthew 25:34-40, He said, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you… For I was hungry and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink…I was naked, and you gave me clothing…[W]hen you did it to one of the least of these, my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!” If interested in volunteering, please call the church office.
