FBC Has New Mission Statement!

First Baptist Church leaders and members met twice in April to develop a mission statement for our church.  Our new mission statement is: We are a welcoming and loving Christian community that provides worship, outreach, and fellowship to all.  The statement reflects how our church will target our ministry work toward accomplishing the broader vision we established a year ago: We envision a world in which all people experience the love of God, the saving grace of Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit.  These prayerfully crafted statements will help our leaders, members and ministries focus on a common goal and direction as we serve God, our community and one another.  Thank you to everyone who participated in this important and exciting initiative.
